5. Astromania 1.25" Extendable Camera Adapter - for Either Prime-focus Or Eyepiece-projection Astrophotography with Refractors or Reflector Telescopes - Threaded for Standard 1.25inch Astronomy Filters

Feature

Zoom projection and focal adapter: The simple way to astrophotography begins with this projection adapter. Use your standard Ploessl or Kellner 1.25-inch eyepieces for beautiful photos of the Moon and planets.
This easy to use 1.25" Variable Universal Camera Adapter is designed to attach both camera body and telescope together. Compatible for both reflector and refractor telescopes with 1.25" eyepiece holders. Dual design allows the user to make slight magnification adjustments without having to change telescope eyepieces.
The 1.25" Variable Universal Camera Adapter is made of black-anodized aluminum, threaded for Standard 1.25inch Astronomy Filters. Projection adapter for 1.25-inch eyepieces of up to 38mm outside diameter, also can be used as a focal adapter with a T2 thread.
Two adapters in one: The projection and focal adapter consists of two parts - the projection part and the focal adapter. The projection part is used with an eyepiece for achieving a long focal length with small objects, e.g. for individual craters. Use the focal adapter without the use of an eyepiece so employing the focal length of your telescope - for taking photos of the entire Moon, gas nebula or galaxy.
Zooming into the night sky: Use the sliding rear part of the adapter to zoom - pull out to magnify the image - without needing to change your eyepiece. Connect this adapter to each telescope with a 1.25" eyepiece connection. You can use an eyepiece of any focal length - and you can achieve high-magnification images of lunar craters and planets. All you need is a T2 ring and a suitable camera with a bayonet connector.

Description

The Astromania 1.25" Variable Universal Camera Adapters allow attachment of a camera body to reflector and refractor telescopes for either prime-focus or telescope eyepiece-projection photography. The adapter's 1.25" nosepiece slides into the telescope's eyepiece holder just like an eyepiece. This Variable Universal Camera Adapter is composed of two detachable parts: a prime-focus adapter (or "T-adapter") for prime-focus photography, and a fixed-length or variable extension tube for eyepiece-projection photography. A thumbscrew in the extension tube holds the telescope eyepiece in place. This combination of prime-focus and eyepiece-projection camera adapter has a sliding barrel design that allows variable projection distances. This allows for slight changes in magnification without swapping telescope eyepieces when performing eyepiece-projection photography. Fits reflector and refractor telescopes with 1.25" eyepiece holders. The Variable Projection Camera Adapter allows for a continuous range of projection magnifications during eyepiece-projection photography for telescopes with a 1.25" focuser. The machined sliding-cell assembly can be fixed at any position along its length and is held in position via a thumbscrew. The resulting effective focal ratio is then determined by the sliding adjustment and eyepiece used. A T-ring specific to your D/SLR camera is required to connect your camera to this adapter (not included).

9. SVBONY SV305 Telescope Camera CMOS Digital Eyepiece USB 2MP 1.25 inch Astronomy Camera Dynamic Observation for Telescope Planetary Viewing Photography

Feature

BSI CMOS Sensor; This telescope camera uses an extremely sensitive back-illuminated CMOS sensor; IMX290 sensor has very high QE and very low (0.7e-) read noise; which improved sensitivity in the visible-light and near infrared light regions for industrial applications
128MB DDR Buffer; The benefit of the image buffer is that the memory will cache the image and transfer it to the computer when the USB interface is not busy or being interrupted;and the frame will not be lost or corrupted
Any Area ROI Support; The SV305 astronomy camera has ROI function; A smaller region of interest (ROI) is read out from the sensor; leaving the image scale of the object being imaged unchanged; Allow arbitrary resolutions to be set
Using DirectShow Camera; We can easily capture data from the capture card that supports the WDM driver model;and post-process it to the file. It supports Asf;Mpeg;Avi;Dv;Mp3;Wave and other media formats;making playback of multimedia data a breeze. In addition;DirectShow also directly supports DVD playback;non-linear editing of video;and data exchange with digital cameras

Description

SV305 astronomy camera solves the general astronomy camera problem:
--Optimize pixel vignetting
--slow frame when planet shooting
--Storage frame rate is slow
--No ROI function
--Short exposure time
Now SV305 astronomy camera meet the basic needs of astronomy enthusiasts for planetary photography.

Come with 1.25 inch extension tube
We design the 1.25 inch extension tube for SV305. And the extension tube is designed with the M28.5*6 filter threads. When you use the SV305 to capture planets in the city, you could add the light pollution filter so that you could get better image.

1800 seconds of exposure time
In order to give customer the greast astronomy experience, the SV305 support 30mins, 1800s exposure time. The longer exposure, the hotter the camera will be, and there will be more read noise on the image. So 1800s is enough

Laser Engraved Extension Scale for Easy Repeatability.
Awarded "Hot Product for 2015" by Sky & Telescope Magazine!

Description

If you have been shopping for an Eyepiece Projection adapter you probably noticed they all have a few things in common.. they only hold small eyepieces with an upper body diameter of 1.5" or less. This limits you to a 25 or 26mm plossl eyepiece. They also have no means of easily determining the projection length, this can be frustrating if you want repeatability or like to record all your equipment settings. All of that is just fine for your average amateur astronomer taking a few pictures now and then. But if you take your astrophotography seriously have a look at the Pro-Series VariMax projection adapter. VariMax is the largest variable eyepiece projection adapter in production.. anywhere. It's so large a standard eyepiece projection adapter fits inside it! You can now use your larger more expensive 1.25" eyepieces, all the way up to 2.5" in upper body Diameter and 3.5" in upper body Height! The laser engraved scale enables you to easily record the projection length for repeatability with confidence. In its standard configuration the VariMax will directly fit onto any male T-Mount or into a 1.25" eyepiece port. Add the optional ($24.95) 2" barrel for direct connection to 2" eyepiece ports without the need for reducing adapters. The upper body has an extra wide machine knurled grip ring for a sure grip even in the worst dew conditions. The lower barrel is equipped with a safety undercut to help protect your equipment from a loose eyepiece port retention screw. We kept the internal eyepiece port low profile, so VariMax requires no more back focus than a standard projection adapter. VariMax is also versatile, in addition to eyepiece projection you can use this adapter in various other configurations. See the "Setup Diagram" above, it shows how VariMax connects to various telescope types as well as any additional parts that may be needed. NOT FOR USE ON SPOTTING SCOPES! NEW 2" Version also available.
